Based on extensive local research including oral history interviews, newspaper clippings, and personal papers, this book includes important information from the Chicago and D.C. branches of the National Archives about the last battle between the Ojibwe Indians and the U.S. Army. $24.95

This is a large format, hard cover book of 384 pages printed by Taylor
Publishing Company. It includes history on townships, cities, families,
churches, businesses and organizations which was supplied to the Cass
County Historical Society for inclusion in this book. $45
History of Boy River (1998)
History of the village and township
of Boy River, Cass County. Completed for the first and only high school
reunion. The school closed in 1965. Many photos. $20
History of Federal Dam and Gould Township (1996)
This history
contains many photos and history of the town that was built along the
Leech River after construction of the dam. The government dam was one
of a series of dams constructed as part of the Mississippi
Headwaters Reservoir Project, and was built in 1882. The town was
incorporated after the arrival of the Soo Line railroad in 1910. $20
History of Remer & Surrounding Townships (1997)
This book was the result of a Remer Civic Club celebration of the Cass
County Centennial. (1897-1997). Remer was incorporated in 1910 and
recently opened its renovated railroad depot as a tourist center and
